As a friendly, vibrant and aspirational school with a brand new Sixth Form block, St. Alban’s needed a new prospectus to convey the school’s vision and the excellent opportunities available to students.
I was commissioned to create a new prospectus that would showcase the school’s best assets and appeal to prospective pupils and their parents. Collaborating with a talented local photographer and the region’s leading print specialists, I completed the initial redesign of their first prospectus back in 2015 and have been working with the school each year since to produce their annual Sixth Form prospectus.
The key objective each year is to appeal to modern students and position St. Alban’s as a top Sixth Form choice in Suffolk. The photography commissioned for the first issue has been an invaluable investment, used in subsequent prospectuses for the school alongside content that is continually renewed, to reflect changes to the curriculum.
In recent years, the school has switched from printed to digital prospectuses, meaning we can easily add pages and make use of interactive hyper-links within the publication, directing the reader to the Sixth Form’s website and further online resources.
“We have been very pleased to work with Creative Joy and are delighted with our new main school and Sixth Form prospectus. Right from the start Joy was able to capture our vision and transform this into a prospectus and brand we are very proud of. We look forward to working with her for the foreseeable future.”
