Barn Farm Drinks

Barn Farm Drinks is a family-run business in its third generation, dedicated to cultivating, pressing and bottling their own fruit into premium juice beverages.

THE CHALLENGE:

Their premium mixers and fruit juices were known for their exceptional flavour and were receiving numerous awards for taste. However, despite strong local sales, their existing branding and label design wasn’t in keeping with the sophisticated look they aspired to project and was hindering success in trendy cities like London and Brighton.

SOLUTION:

Recognising that the branding needed to be brought up-to-date, Barn Farm Drinks commissioned a complete revamp across their two premium ranges: Gently Sparkling Pressé and Pressed Fruit Juice.

The new designs feature an updated brand identity, moving away from the previous farmyard ‘splash’ graphic, with a more sophisticated, pared-back word mark, which allows new, colourful illustrations of the fruit to take centre stage in the label design.

The Fruit Juice range features loose, expressive watercolour illustrations, whereas the Pressé range features duotone line-drawings, so each range has its own distinctive identity under the main brand umbrella.

The loose, artistic styles across both ranges conveys a fresh, authentic feel. The full-bleed composition signifies a product that is bursting with flavour, yet there is plenty of white space to give the design a light, contemporary feel, to appeal to a modern audience.
