Jarvis Cosmetic Developments (JCD) are industry leaders in the field of niche, high-end cosmetic preparations. They recently celebrated their Golden Jubilee; fifty years of experience, unparalleled insight and cosmetics manufacturing expertise.
Wanting to thank their customers, suppliers, and colleagues, JCD commissioned me to design a celebratory landmark logo, plus product labels for their exclusive luxury hand cream gift and a thank you postcard too.
The 50 years landmark logo, combines the JCD logo with “50 years of innovating” as an integrated emblem.
The client came up with the rather witty No.50 as a name for their hand cream, so the logical design response seemed to be to parody Channel’s famous logo and typesetting – using JCD’s own brand palette and fonts.
The hand cream and postcards were packaged beautifully along with some utterly delicious customised bonbons, from local chocolatiers Wood Row Chocolate.
